How to Do Fitness Ball Exercises

The major advantage of fitness ball exercises is that they can be used both in professional and domestic setting. It is lowest cost fitness equipment that gives incredible flexibility to your exercises.

You must have once purchased a fitness ball and it lies right there within your house. Now you are worried as to what should be done next. Following are some fitness ball workouts to have you started:

Elevated Push-ups

Elevated Push-ups are best to build your chest. Plant your feet and ankles above the fitness ball and hold a standard push-up position keeping your palms on the ground. Now do a standard push-up with the added resistance and balance posed by the workout ball.

Balanced Push-ups

They are employed when your feel the elevated push-up are too difficult for you. Fix your toes on the ground and your hands on the ball. Now perform push-ups in this posture. These push-ups need less arm force but more poise.

Back Extensions

Back extensions are effective to strengthen your lower back. Place your belly over the workout ball with your shoulders stretching outward across the ball. Maintain a straight back move your shoulders down by slightly curving at waist, then get up using back muscles.

Crunches

Fitness ball workouts can add different forms of crunches to boost your core energy. Lay on your back on the ground. Plant your feet and lower legs over the fitness ball and do abs crunches by raising your head and shoulders above the floor.

Other form is the core crunch. Bend over the fitness ball putting your lower arms and palms on the ball. Push them into the ball by squeezing your abs. Another abs crunch involves keeping your feet on floor; sit over the ball, and leaning backward. These crunches feature increased activity to keep balance.

Superman

The superman entails classic fitness ball workouts to build core strength. Plant your buttocks on the ball with your toes on the floor. Access your front from above your head like a flying superman. Hold the posture and employ your back and ab-muscles to balance. It is much harder than it looks.

You can focus any part of your body employing your fitness ball to boost your fitness. A ball is the most typical form of exercise equipment, yet it can prove one of the most working workouts!
