Detoxification with the 3 Day Detox Diet
Our life styles and environment these days have made our lives impossible to live without these toxins, which are present in our surroundings. 3 Day Detoxification Program
- This is a very quick and simple program to begin with detoxification at home. Each morning for 3 days drink a cup of warm water and half lemon squeezed in it, when you get up. This is done to stimulate the body gastric juices. Drink lemon water instead of your usual cup of tea or coffee. While planning the day diet, care should be taken that the meals should include one cup of whole grain like brown rice, buck wheat, amaranth, and at least 3 servings of each fruit and vegetables. At least one should consume raw vegetable such as carrots, celery, or cauliflower. Salads should be included in the diet, but how ever should be made using the dressing of natural virgin oils or vinegar.
- Extra supplements should be included, one need to take 2 doses of kidney and liver tonic over the 3 day detox program. Just 2 doses of tonic for 3 days are recommended for the people who are trying to detoxify the body. One can choose from the following kidney and liver tonic; 2 cups of dandelion, a clove of fresh garlic, chamomile or fennel tea.
- Other choices of healthy diet include pure vegetable and fruit juices, like carrot or beetroot, a medium bunch of black grapes, 8 to 10 glasses of water should be taken on daily and regular basis. Fresh fruits juices such as apple and orange should be counted as part of once water intake.
