Pregnancy symptoms vary from woman to woman and even from pregnancy to pregnancy. However, a noteworthy pregnancy symptom is the delayed / missed menstrual cycle.

Discerning the symptoms and signs of a pregnancy is worthwhile since every symptom can be associated with something other than pregnancy. Some women may experience signs or symptoms of pregnancy just within a week. Other, however, may extend over a couple of weeks or may not be there at all.

Following is a brief account of the universal pregnancy signs and symptoms. In case you have been having a regular sex and going through any such symptom as given below, it would be in the fitness of thing to take a pregnancy test.

Bleeding due to implantation:

Implantation bleeding could be one of the initial signs of pregnancy. Between 6-12 days after the conception has had occurred the embryo tends to implant itself onto the uterus. Quite a few women may witness ‘spotting’ or some sort of cramping.

Delayed Menstruation:

A delayed menstruation is an ordinary pregnancy symptom leaving no option for a woman but to test for pregnancy. If you get impregnated, your next period must be missed. A number of women bleed when they get pregnant. Nevertheless, a typical bleeding will be shorter than a full fledge period.

Swollen / Tender Breasts:

Swollen breasts may constitute a sign of conception that could commence just within
1-2 weeks of pregnancy. Women should watch transformations in their breasts; they might range from tenderness to being swollen.

Fatigue / exhaustion:

Experiencing an exceeding fatigue or tiredness is another pregnancy symptom that may begin to appear in the first week after the onset of conception.

Nausea or Morning Sickness:

It is a common pregnancy symptom that mostly appears between 2-8 weeks post conception. Some women are lucky enough for not having come across morning sickness at any stage, whereas others may feel nauseous through most part of their pregnancy.

Backaches:

Lower back pains could be a sign that appears quite earlier after conception. It is, however, usual to feel a monotonous backache throughout the course of pregnancy.

Headaches:

The immediate increase of hormones in your body can trigger in you headaches from the onset of pregnancy.

Increased frequency of urination:

About 6-8 weeks after conception has occurred, you may come across with a new experience of making some extra trips to the bathroom.

Darkening of Areolas color:

If you really have gone pregnant, the skin color around the crease of your nipples could get darker.

Cravings for eatables:

Whilst you might not nurture an appetite to eat pickles and ice cream, many women would be mad after certain foods by the time they turn pregnant. This could span over the course of whole period of pregnancy.
